What is FixNow24?

FixNow24 is a Belgian platform for urgent home repairs that connects, within minutes, a customer facing an emergency with a qualified, vetted professional who is available nearby.

Five trades at launch, in Brussels first, then in Flanders and Wallonia. Each page lists the problems covered and the price ranges.

How it works

    You pick your trade, then the symptom from a short list. Photos and a free description are optional.

  2. 2. You see a price range

    The range comes from our reference price list and is shown at both VAT rates. You only pay €35.00 as a call-out fee to send the request.

  3. 3. A nearby professional accepts

    We contact the closest vetted professionals. The first one to accept sets off, and you follow the arrival on a map.

  4. 4. You pay after the job

    On site, the professional gives a firm price that you accept in the app. You pay at the end and receive the invoice.

How does an emergency home repair work with FixNow24?

You pick the trade, you select the symptom closest to your problem, and the indicative price range appears immediately. You pay a €35.00 call-out fee: that payment is what sends your request to the vetted professionals nearest your address. The first one to accept sets off straight away. A complete request takes less than sixty seconds and four screens. You then follow the arrival on a map and you can send messages. On site, the professional makes a diagnosis, selects the VAT rate he is responsible for, and enters a firm price. Nothing starts until you have accepted that price in the app. You pay at the end of the job, again in the app, and you receive the professional’s invoice. If nobody accepts your request, the call-out fee is refunded automatically.

How much does an emergency home repair cost in Belgium?

The call-out fee is €35.00, paid when you send the request, and it covers the journey and the on-site diagnosis. The work itself usually falls between €8.48 and €1,908.00 incl. VAT at the 6 % rate, or between €9.68 and €2,178.00 incl. VAT at the 21 % rate, depending on the trade and the problem. That range comes from our reference price list, not from an automated estimate, and it is always quoted with VAT included. The reduced 6 % rate applies to a private home older than ten years with eligible work, 21 % in every other case. The professional selects the applicable rate on site, because he issues the invoice. The firm price is given after the diagnosis and may exceed the range: in that case the professional must write a justification that you read before accepting. You never pay a service fee on top of the professional’s price.
