An emergency plumber charges a €35.00 call-out fee, paid when you send the request, then the price of the work itself. For common jobs the indicative range runs from €40.00 to €550.00 excl. VAT, depending on the fault and the time spent on site. Those amounts come from our reference price list, maintained from our back office, and not from an automated estimate. They are shown at both Belgian VAT rates, because the rate is only chosen after the diagnosis: €42.40 to €583.00 incl. VAT at 6 % for a private home older than ten years, €48.40 to €665.50 incl. VAT at 21 % in every other case. The plumber then gives a firm price on site. If it exceeds the range, he has to write down why, and you read that justification before accepting. You only pay after the job, and never a service fee on top.
